Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to make a positive difference to the lives of residents!
Cripplegate Foundation is an independent charity addressing poverty and inequality in the London Borough of Islington and parts of the City of London. We are an innovative funder and convenor aiming to promote social change through our grant making, our programmes and partnerships. One of our core partnership programmes is Islington Giving, raising money in the borough to further support Islington residents.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and community focused individual to join our team as Programme Manager to make a positive difference to the lives of residents. At the heart of the Foundation’s Programme Team, you will be involved in all areas of our grant-making and provide support to voluntary organisations working for the benefit of local people.
This exciting and important role will involve managing a portfolio of our grants, assessing grant applications received by the Foundation through its open-calls for proposals, and helping to develop proactive programmes for new areas of work. You will be working closely with residents, funded groups, and a range of organisations in the borough, including working with Islington Council, to test new approaches and maximise the impact of our funding. - have a proven track record in leading and managing programmes to support local groups
- thrive in small teams where you can work with colleagues on a variety of collaborative projects
- are passionate, as we are, about tackling poverty and inequality at a local level and acquire the skills, knowledge and experience to work alongside partner organisations to address these issues
