Projects available

Individual projects:

TEXT can create projects to suit specific needs around themes, topics, issues, curricular areas. Some examples are:

• Transition
• History – World War 2, Ancient Greeks, Black History, Local history
• Science – Forces, the human body
• Identity
• Fairy tales – exploring responses and new interpretations

In some projects, writers work collaboratively with book illustrators or a film makers to extend the experience for children and students.

• Making history human
• Ways into poetry
• Writer residencies from 5 – 10 weeks
  
  

Outcomes

The school and the writer discuss, at the planning stage, the most appropriate way of recording and presenting students work e.g. booklets, exhibitions, plays and performance, film. 

All projects work with Islington Education Library Service and have access to their resources and artefacts.
